Josja Schepman
Glass artist
Studied at the art academy in Utrecht. She follows the direction of free design and during her education she does an internship at the Oude Horn, Bernard Heesen's studio, located just next to the border with Leerdam. She doesn't want anything dependent on glass, she thinks it's kitsch, but here she feels at home, freedom, happiness and nothing is not crazy enough. Überkitsch with a wink. The irony appeals to her.

Plus the fact that she lost herself in the glass. Like a ballerina in a dance, she loses herself in the glass again and again. Forget the world around her. Cliché but true, caught by the glass. Passion? That's wonderful.
