Dutch Design Hotel Artemis celebrates its
10th anniversary and with it the high-profile Dutch Design
& Art exhibition organized in the hotel three times a year.
After all the hotel is for already 10 years with its Dutch
Design & Art exhibitions a platform for both established
as starting Dutch designers and artists. This anniversary
is not going unnoticed; at different times in 2015 attention
is paid.
Anniversary exhibition
The anniversary exhibition contains the most talked-about designs of the past 10 years and a hanging retrospective
of all 39 covers of the ‘Design & Art’ exhibition booklets. In addition, the new spectacular 3D work of art (in Popart style) on the media wall (40 m 2) by 3D street artist Leon Keer can be admired. Strike a pose and you will be part of the painted illusion. During the anniversary year 2015, attention is paid to the charity we support; hetWerkvan (Madeby). This charity helps by promoting the art movement ‘Outsider Art’ with a purpose to create a platform for these unique creators and their individual unique artworks. You can admire and purchase the art of Madeby at Dutch Design Hotel Artemis. In addition, the proceeds from the sale of the funny interior toys Phing Things of the artist Gert-jan Vlaming go to this foundation. Also especially for the 10th anniversary of Dutch Design Hotel Artemis, Restaurant De Stijl has undergone a metamorphosis. For this, eQ + has integrated the L.A.F. series into the design of the restaurant.
