Vision

With Dreamscapes I visualize images that have made a lasting impression on me. They are images stored somewhere in my mind. I no longer want to hold on to what I see, I have to paint from my memories. The travels I have made, but also the places in my environment are a source of inspiration. This also applies to paintings by old masters and photos by befriended and unknown photographers.

Images to dream away with
Dreamscapes are images that I see again when I close my eyes. They are landscapes from my memories and which most likely also evoke certain memories in the viewer. With the series I want to show that reality does not exist, but that everyone forms their own image of what they see. Dreamscapes is the title. Images to dream away with. Each painting has a text and is signed on the side because with my name on the front it would

always only be my memory.

About Ad 

A creative pur sang, he pushes the boundaries of the advertising profession. He is at the forefront of a number of new brands, for which he invents both the name, the logo and even products. His work has won him national and international awards. But fame and success is not what drives him. He is committed to making the world a better place. He also teaches for several years at the Hogeschool der Kunsten in Utrecht.

During all these years, Van den Boom continues to paint and write. In 2000 he publishes a children's book and from 2005 he starts sculpting.

Over the years he exhibited at various galleries at home and abroad. For example, his work was shown at the KunstRai in Amsterdam and in Zermatt in Switzerland.
